Job Description
CONSERVATION RANGER III- FOREST OFFICER.
Company: Wakala wa Huduma za Misitu Tanzania (TFS).
Positions: 11 Positions
Responsibilities
- To assist in supervising planting and management of natural forests and plantations;
- To assist in conducting research related to forestry or environment;
- To enforce forest policies and legislation;
- To assist in building capacity of staff and stakeholders;
- To participate in conducting planning in forest and coordinate collection and analysis of forest products statistics.
Qualifications
- Holder of Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields; Forestry, Agroforestry, Forest Ecology, Forest Biology, Forest Economics, Natural Resource Management, Forest Engineering, Geographical Information System (GIS), Forest Resources Assessment and Management from a recognized institution.
- The candidate shall be required to attend and pass military recruit course.
